0.40/0.80 Trips vs aggressive villain (50% VPIP)
$80(105bb) effective stacks, 6 handed cash game. 82hh in the BB.
villain had been seen to bet and barrel a lot.
UTG folds, MP raises $1.6, folds to Hero, who calls.
Flop: 2d2cJh ($4.8 pot)
Hero checks, Villain bets 2.4bb, Hero calls.
Turn: As ($9.6 pot)
Hero checks, Villain bets $3.2, Hero calls.
River: 3s ($16 pot)
Hero checks, Villain bets $10.66, Hero raises 31bb, Villain jams $41, Hero calls.
Given how they had played, don't think hero wants to raise the flop, give them a chance to keep bluffing. I am not sure if the board is better for me or not anyway.
On the turn I considered raising vs such a small bet but chose x/c again. the A hits them more as well, so probably ok to x/c.
For the River, I think x/c with a weak kicker, or x/jam is better given how much I left behind after x/r. always calling it off as played though?
