I have BDFD, gutshot and an overcard, so even though the board isn't that much better for me, I see no problem with betting as we may get a Q or lower pair to fold or pick up equity on the turn. I think is fine too.

The donk bet is odd, could be an Ace, 2 pair, straight and flush draw. I'm not sure calling here is good against the population as it probably under bluffed, but I call hoping he has a worse A.
