NL2 CO VS BU
Struggling with this hand, mostly the river decision...
(97.5BB) Hero raises 2.5BB in CO w J♦T♥.
(86.5BB) BU (44% VPIP) calls.
SB folds.
(35BB) BB (39% VPIP) calls.
FLOP: 9♥J♥T♠ - 8BB.
I didn't really know much about the opponent aside from 44% VPIP and very low % of PFR, ATS and 3bet.
I decided to bet 2/3p to get value/protection from all hearts and any gunshots or open enders.
(91.5BB) Hero bets 6BB.
(80.5BB) BU calls.
BB folds.
Turn: 9♥J♥T♠9♠ - 20BB.
Not loving the Turn but still feel quite strong about my hand so I bet 2/3p again. Felt like I had to charge flush draws, any straight draws and weaker Jacks.
(76.5BB) Hero bets 15BB.
(65.6BB) BU calls.
River 9♥J♥T♠9♠5♦ - 50BB.
This is very I felt dicey. How would you go about making a decision here?.
I felt like he was the type that would just passively call until R so he could have: A9, K9, Q9, J9, T9, KQ, 87, 99, TT, JJ.
Also, the hands I beat: Ax♥, Kx♥, Qx♥, KJ, QJ, A8.
Do I:.
a) bet small to get value from weaker Jacks and perhaps block a bluff with a missed draw (since I feel he's not the type to bluff/shove missed draws).
b) check and evaluate his River bet (if any) or get to SD.
c) bet big/shove - but I don't really see any merit in this.
