I’m really proud of this hand — it might be my biggest win in PLO5 so far:

• I think the BB call was good, the hand definitely has nut potential.
• I had already marked the opponent as a maniac earlier, so I think the flop check/call was also solid. If someone hits a worse flush, that’s actually a dream scenario.
• I’m happy I stayed consistent on the turn. At that point, check/raise pot is clearly the only option.
• And the pot bet on the river was exactly what I wanted.

I’m writing this because I think this game flow is really important against aggro maniacs:
- see cheap flops with medium-strength hands
- then go for pot-sized check/raises with nut-ish hands postflop — or just start clicking the pot button :-)

Do you agree with this approach? Or am I thinking about something the wrong way?
