Hi. If I’m playing a very tight TAG strategy mainly using the charts of the foundations course then how do I decide when to bluff? If my range is overly tight then am I just giving up when I see 237 rainbow flop?
I don’t want to lose value on my strong hands if people always see me only reraising a tight merged range.
Also, to keep 3bet ranges not so obvious how do you decide when it’s appropriate to reraise with hands weaker than say AJo?

What is your mental image of someone's range? Do you just list a bunch of possible hand combinations? Do you just name a couple of hands you think they have and then start cutting hands out? When narrowing a range down multiple streets do you imagine the different hands being played through previous streets and determine whether or not it makes sense?

I'm having trouble getting value out of suited connectors when the opponents are TAG and like to see a cheap flop.
Preflop:
I can either bet kind of small (2bb-3bb) in which case the LAG players with absolutely nothing will fold, the TAGs will call with good hands and raise with premium hands.
Problem: I either have a lot of callers which means good pot odds but it sort of just becomes a fire once and give up at the flop situation. Or, a premium hand raises me and I have to fold or gamble.
Flop:
The TAGs will check/fold if they don't hit anything or call or raise with pocket pairs or Ace Broadway.
Problem: Very often if I hit a draw I will semi-bluff and just get a fold. I might get called and worst is I'll get re-raised at which point my pot odds are really poor and I have to fold because they're never folding. Very often heads up they just fold.
Turn:
If the turn hits then I'm in Nirvana and we don't need to discuss. However, when it doesn't then very often I'll get raised and given crap odds from the TAGs and have to give up. If I raised preflop and then semi-bluffed it becomes very expensive.
River:
If the river hits and they have top pair I'm winning big. If it misses then I've just got to check/fold. No one at my level folds unless my raise is really high but the pot is usually quite big by this point.
I suppose what I'm really asking is how do we keep our draws cheap whilst getting value? I am finding it very hard to do that because it's usually getting small value out of a semi-bluff or paying a lot to see my draws/giving up.
