In this video Horseofhell continues his shortstack mini-series and now he is doing a deepdive on BB defense. Join him as he tries to understand broad concepts about what the solver does as the stack depth gets shorter, and more importantly: Why!
Oct. 5, 2026 | 5 p.m.
In this installment, Horseofhell discusses why and how shortstack strategy differs from deepstack using various toy games. A must see if you're playing as (or against) a lot of shortack opponents!

It is no secret that Horseofhell loves studying individual hands. He has made many videos about that exact thing! But sometimes he also studies spots by quizzing and writing a more detailed analysis. In this video he shows you this approach which should prove extremely useful in your own studying!
Sept. 2, 2026 | 5 p.m.
Join Horseofhell as he studies some more recent hands that he played! In this video the focus will once again be on 3-bet pots.
Aug. 17, 2026 | 5 p.m.
On today's study with me, Horseofhell decided to mix things up and put the focus on more 3-bet pots. We ended up with a nice mixture of spots that highlight some weak passive mistakes but also some nice aggressive bluffs on paired boards.

Join Horseofhell as he does another study with me!
As always, he tries to pick a variety of hands that he has studied recently, but this time almost all hands coincidentally happen to be hands of a very similar spot: river after turn probing OOP – a super important and common spot to get down!
July 10, 2026 | 5 p.m.
Joine Horseofhell as he discusses various hands that he recently studied. The hands vary from big pot bets where our range is strong, to bluffs in smaller pots, and an exploitative adjustment gone wrong.

Join Horseofhell as he studies some hands that he recently played. There's a variety of different spots here ranging from stack off thresholds to "simple" c-betting spots.
June 8, 2026 | 5 p.m.
Finding enough bet/folds in position on the turn is super important. Exploitatively even more so when taking into consideration that a lot of people have weak checking ranges.
Join Horseofhell as he does a deep dive into a very common scenario of finding the spicy bet folds!

PLO players love nothing more than clicking the pot button. As much as Horseofhell loves it too, sometimes it's important to find some nuance in our strategy as well. In this video he explores some interesting small bet spots at low SPR in 3-Bet pots where we are in position.
Instead of just potting and "making it easy" for the OOP player, how about we put him to the test and force him to play some rivers!
April 28, 2026 | 5 p.m.
Join Horseofhell in his hotel room as he reviews some interesting hands he played at a recent 5k MTT in Prague. This video will contain detailed analysis of check raising ranges, bluffing ranges, and stack off thresholds in awkward multiway 3-Bet pots.
April 2, 2026 | 5 p.m.
Figuring out the bottom of our calling ranges is super important because these hands are typically the first ones we turn into bluffs on rivers. Obviously we would call a bit more when we are in position, but how much more? And how does our raising frequency/hand selection change?

HU is easy, just approach is as if you're playing BTN vs BB 6-Max" is something Horseofhell used to say some years ago. In this video he will discuss why that is completely wrong and in which ways HU differs from 6-Max.
He also gets into a deeper discussion about what this means more fundamentally for our understanding of the game of PLO and how we can use this information to exploit opponents in completely unrelated situations.

A common leak that you should plug in 2026: trying to outplay opponents with flashy exploits that end up quietly exploiting yourself instead.
Horseofhell will walk through real examples where players convince themselves they’ve found a killer adjustment, but in reality they’re overreacting to thin reads, forcing deviations, and bleeding EV in straightforward spots.
You’ll learn to spot the difference between a true exploit and ego-driven lines, what evidence actually justifies deviating, and a practical framework for approaching these situations.

In today's video Horseofhell once again reviews a RIO member's footage. However, it seems like our hero is all over the place and doesn't really have a solid strategy in a lot of very common situations.
How do we improve when we are almost starting from zero? At the end of the video Horseofhell gives his recommendations on which videos on Runitonce to watch and in what order to get the most bang for your buck! So make sure to stick around for that.
Dec. 30, 2025 | 5 p.m.
Horseofhell does another member review where the theme is exploitation. Our hero is constantly trying to make the best possible play which leads to some crazy exploits but in the end, the only person being exploited is himself.
This showcases something that many players struggle with: constantly trying to find the optimal play and getting so lost in the weeds that they make huge fundamental mistakes.
Dec. 10, 2025 | 5 p.m.
Horseofhell reviews the footage from a selection of RIO members in an effort to answer the question: am I unlucky or do I suck? Plenty of mistakes are spotted and some sizing mistakes that could be used to get some big sizing tells on our hero...
Nov. 19, 2025 | 5 p.m.
In this video Horseofhell discusses the annoying situations where we 3-bet a nice hand like AKQ7 doublesuited only to get a T62 rainbow flop when we are shortstacking. We know that we should pot a ton on this board... But a hand like this? Pure air just some overcards and a dream? There is an SPR threhshold where we do jam but where? Find the answers in this video!

Sure everyone can find the obvious checkraise bluffs but are you finding the more marginal edge cases? This video focuses specifically on those edge cases to help you expand your bluffing region.
Are your opponents finding these bluffs? How can we use this knowledge to our advantage?

How often do you find yourself in this situation: You find a juicy polar check raise with sick blockers when shortstacking only to find yourself on the turn after getting called with pure air...
Horseofhell felt like this happened so often to him that he wanted to explore this situation. Surely we can't just always check fold?? Join Horseofhell as he explores this situation with these combos as we discover some interesting low SPR bluffs.
Aug. 4, 2025 | 5 p.m.
Horseofhell explores some interesting dynamics that occur when double barreling certain textures in single raised pots.
July 7, 2025 | 5 p.m.
Very often weaker PLO players will just close their eyes and ram in their last bit of money in multiway 3-bet pots. This is a huge mistake as you'll see in this video. There's a lot of nuance to these spots and we even incorporate some small bet sizings at SPRs as low as 1!
June 23, 2025 | 5 p.m.
Horseofhell shares an insightful, albeit somewhat embarrassing, video. The intention wasn't for the video to take the direction it did, but every hand analyzed ends up being one where Horseofhell gave up a bluff incorrectly. Nonetheless, progress is made by learning from mistakes. Identifying these errors is crucial for improvement, and seeing a session filled with so many abandoned bluffs has been eye-opening for Horseofhell. Going forward, this is an area that will receive focused attention and hard work. Hopefully, this video will also inspire others to identify and address some significant mistakes in their own games!

Join Horseofhell as he walks through a bunch of hands that he played in a recent tournament. Tons of interesting 3-bet pots and multiway spots!
May 7, 2025 | 5 p.m.
Today's video will be a continuation on the video Horseofhell did previously on thinking in ranges. This time we are going to be looking at a different spot to see how this thinking in ranges idea translates to other situations and how it might help us make better decisions. Not only on the flop, but also on later streets!
April 14, 2025 | 5 p.m.
Yesterday was not a good day. Horseofhell got absolutely demolished in what feels like every single spot. Sometimes in the moment these sessions can feel so hopeless and demoralizing. He always enjoys the approach of just stepping away from poker for the rest of the day if you have a bad session to study the hands with a fresh pair of eyes. So what did actually happen yesterday? Did he play really bad? We will find out in today's video.
March 5, 2025 | 5 p.m.
Horseofhell loves studying small pots. He's talked about it in many previous videos and will die on this hill: small pots are underappreciated. While they might not be the most exciting hands, they are very common so small mistakes can easily add up to big mistakes over the course of many hands. In this video, he looks at some hands and hones his skills in spots that others might find too boring to study.

A bit of a dramatic title for a video about C-Betting, but this is actually what happened to horseofhell. He used to be a slave to the solver. Purely trying to copy strategies without really understanding them. The approach that he will highlight in this video has really changed how he thinks about the game and helps him make better decisions not only on flops, but also on turns and rivers. We hope you will find this as useful as he did!
