Ok, I'd definitely check out Foundations first then.

Hi!
For sure, as you could imagine, there are quite a few videos that mention this these topics. Feel free to ask questions in the comments section underneath each of the videos. Active coaches might see the notifications and reply regardless of how long the content has been live.
Here's a quick list with videos that mention range and nut advantage in no particular order (there are more in the library, you can try searching for the with our search tool):
- Krzysztof Slaski's Trend Spotting - More on Leverage
- Qing Yang's Equity Distribution
- Alexandra Fagaras' A Complete Guide to Overbetting
- Francesco Lacriola Splitting Sizes On The River
Hope this helps!

Hi! Great to see you were able to get in some good fundamental work with FTGU.
The next step really depends on the games you're playing and areas of the game you're struggling with.
I noticed that you've brought up some questions about solvers, so I would recommend checking out Phil's Simplifying Solvers. Other than that, I think Phil's Foundations is a good resource to freshen up your fundamentals as so many of your decisions are based on understanding the core concepts in poker.
But I'd like to hear more about what games you're playing and what seem to be the main challenges for you to give a better answer! :)

I'll borrow a reply from my colleague:
Here's a small list of videos that I was able to dig up for you, I hope some of these help! They are also all featured in this custom playlist I created: Getting Started With Solvers
-> I think Introduction to Studying with Solvers by Paul Gough should be a great starting point for this. Next to actually showing stuff in the solver, he also breaks down the methodology in a very structured way. Here's the video.
Hope this helps!

Having Felix join added such an interesting dynamic. I really appreciate his perspective, great idea for a series!
Aug. 5, 2026 | 6:55 a.m.
Hey! Thanks for checking out the videos and you're right, poker training without some element of solver work is almost unimaginable these days.
However, you've singled out a specific hand that you're interested in. I'd suggest just commenting under the video if you want to hear an explanation for a certain action from the pro.
There are plenty of videos that dive into solvers and the logic behind them, and Phil even made a whole course about Simplifying Solver work.
Let me know if I can guide you to some specific content!

Great run in the Main, Lachezar!

Hi there,
From The Ground Up comes with range charts, if that's what you were thinking about! You can find them here.
Let me know if there's anything else we can help with.

Interestingly, we just had Belarmino (who's featured in the Final Table) come on as a guest for a PLO8 training video.

I was thinking to myself "I've heard this name before", but where? Bahamas Super Main and a nice little $4m score! :D
Enjoyed the video and the added dynamic w/ Bellarmino commenting on some decisions.

Yes - it’s based on the percentile difference. 6-Card Vision uses hand percentile rankings as the foundation, then factors in playability to give a more complete view of each hand’s strength.

Hi! Thanks for checking out the 6-Card Trainer.
The first number shows which percentile the hand falls into. The second number shows how close the hand is to a call or raise.

When I played more live poker, I used to log hands in the Bankroll Tracker app and link to the hand in question, as that is an option within the app.

Nice! Sad to see the previous blog go, but excited for the new one. Can't wait for an update! Did you guys consider any other destinations outside of the Netherlands before moving to Andorra?
I've been moving around a fair bit with the family in the past few years, but still haven't found the right place for us.

I'm definitely guilty of studying too many of the fancy spots so this video was a nice breath of fresh air. Love how you illustrate the data in your videos!

Just got to remember that Liquid IV's etc are not magical hydration formulas, it's mostly sodium, potassium, glucose, and some vitamins. Most of which are absorbed during a normal diet. So drink water and you'll be fine.

Great to have you back, Seth!

mx404 in most instances, unless you're doing endurance sports (or working out heavily in any other capacity) taking electrolytes will be a bit pointless. Your body has enough sodium reserves + you intake salt as part of your diet anyway. So unless you plan on walking down the strip in the middle of the summer, just water will be more than good enough. Just my 2c. :)

Hey! Welcome back to poker. A lot has changed in that time, that's for sure!
As far as beginner content goes, my go-to recommendations would be the From The Ground Up and Phil's Foundations. Both will do a good job to get you up to speed.
And our Essential plan is fantastic value for the content you'll get with the ability to ask direct questions to coaches under the videos.
Let me know if you have any follow up questions!

Good luck! You're inspired by some great blogs on Run It Once so I hope this will be one to add to the same list some day.
Looking forward to the updates.

Sam, always a pleasure to see one of your videos on the Run It Once feed. Heads up is a special beast when it comes down to your mental game performance for sure.

Hi!
I'll have a bit of a controversial opinion, but you've got to learn to appreciate variance. Without variance, certain group of people would not be interested in the game.
Running 6 buy-in's under EV is also super standard, even if that makes you feel uncomfortable. The best way to battle variance is by getting better at the game.
I'd suggest checking out Phil's latest YouTube video on Dealing with downswings as well!
But you're not alone, all of us have felt frustrations with variance. It's just a part of the game you have to learn how to deal with.
All the best!
How would you rate your game back then compared to your game now?
